SIGMA — Independent R&D Concept
A self-initiated CGI exploration of precision, material, and the tactile character of camera design. Inspired by SIGMA’s minimalist aesthetic, I developed a visual language that brings the camera’s construction and smallest details into focus.
The study moves between sculptural product views and intimate macro shots, exploring the texture of machined metal, the rhythm of knurled controls, and the depth of optical glass. Soft directional light, shallow focus, and restrained compositions reveal the surfaces and give the camera a tangible sense of weight and presence.
Through experiments in shading, lighting, and motion, I explored how engineering detail can shape a product film. The resulting sequence presents the camera as both an image-making tool and a carefully crafted object.
