This project is my exploration of how to showcase light metal on a light background, a task that’s always trickier than it looks. The goal was to keep the Brutalist, utilitarian aesthetic clean and honest, without relying on deep contrast shadows to “save” the form.
I dug into references, tested different lighting setups, and found a balance where the metal stays readable, crisp, and elegant even in a bright environment. That was the main challenge — and the most fun part.
Everything is rendered in Cinema 4D and Redshift. The result gave me a solid new skill and a lot of satisfaction.
